Education Session: Kardex in-service for Tri-cities home care nurses

Target Audience: RNs and LPNs in Home Health (approx 20 per session)
Goal:
This session objectives are:
to review the process of updating the Kardex
to promote consistency in systematic daily review of Kardex as a result supporting clients care and scheduling
to explain the point system in our office that reflect time allotment for clients visit
Participants attending this session will:

Be familiar with the definition of Kardex in TCHH nursing team

Describe the key messages related to Kardex standards, goals and RN responsibilities
Be informed of the recommendations of workload point system and unassigned work time.
Be informed and able to identify the next steps to promote nursing collaboration in home health.
