Hello Everyone,
Lots to talk about this month! ....
Joan Nutt went to the Pala ce gard e n pa rty as our representative along
with Viv Collis a dual m em ber a nd Fio na Wa lke r from Swaffh am
evening WI. ..they had a lovely time a nd Joan has written a re port for
you to read which I have included in th is news le tter...

I went to the Royal Albert Hall fo r the WI AGM as your Link Delegate,
a nd J a lso had a lovely, and ve ry interesting day... I will tell you all
about it at our m ee ting....
As you know we have a chan ge to our me e ting this mo nth and we
w elcome Mr Br ia n Jefferies wh o is goi ng to tell us 'She rry 's not just for

Tr ifle' ...and we will have th e oppo rtunity to taste as well!. ....

Last month our cr aft group met at my house and Marg a re t McKee

ta ught us how to make some very pretty earrin gs...w e all left w ith so me

a nd {shall wear some for you to see.... Next month w e a re lea rn in g t o

cro che t...! please come along and learn something new [or show us how

a ski ll you have ]....

July's meeting is our Euro pean Lunc h....w e w ill meet 1 hour ea rlier a t

by your committee.."

I went to the Nar Valley comm itt e e me eti ng last w ee k and w e hav e

organised the Nar Valley Centenary Tea Party on 23 Septembe r 2pm

This will be free t o Na r Valley membe rs a nd I hop e you can all keep th e

day free for what promises to be a lovely a fte rnoo n..

This years outing on August 18 th is vis it ing Redwings Horse sanctuary

w here we w ill be shown around and have refreshme nts in their cafe,

followed by a trip to Southwold.... A board will go round for you to put

your names down with details of picku p times for the coach....

I have ordered the sunshine for the day...!
