Welcome to Term 3 in Room 4

Welcome back to another term of Learning!
Our Schools overall theme this year is
Collaboration.
This term in Room 4 we will be investigating
Chemistry through Kitchen Science.
We will continue our Chapter book Challenge,
where all readers will be encouraged to read Chapter
Books in their own time at their level and then come
to school and chat about them.
We have Chapter Books in a box in Room 4, the
children will be encouraged to choose Chapter Books
when we go to the Library and the Public Library has
a great selection of Chapter Books for all levels.

We will also have a Museum Visit this term.

This term for PE we will be practicing

our
Long Distance Running ready
for the Cross Country. We will need
to have shorts and t shirts to change
into in our bags everyday!
Homework
Each week the children will have spelling
words to learn for Fridays Whizz Words.
A group reading book (Mon-Thurs).
A weekly Poem to share with you.
Some Basic Maths Facts to practise after
our Monday Speed Test.
At times they may also be asked to bring along
some current news to share, or to find out some
facts about our current topic.
