Pragyan was first initiated in 2005 as an annual technical festival of NIT Trichy to promote
technical skill and innovation among the youth. In a short span of ten years, Pragyan has
magnified into a technical extravaganza with thousands of people swarming into the campus
to participate, compete and innovate. Core responsibilities of Pragyan have given the
students an opportunity to learn how to ideate, strategize and handle crucial situations.
