SUBJECT : GASTECH CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION 2015 / GASTECH
STUDENT PROGRAMME

‘The Commission on Higher Education hereby informs interested parties of the upcoming
GASTECH Conference and Exhibition to be held on 27-30 October 2015 in Singapore Expo,
in conjunction with the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW).
GASTECH aims to bring the technical and commercial gas communities together. The event is
expected to attract 2,000 delegates globally. It will also be attended by 120+ speakers from
the industry.
Part of the GASTECH initiative is the Student Programme that offers students the chance to
join the aforesaid event. It aims to introduce students in their final year to the global gas
industry by providing them with a one-day programme of their own, networking sessions, and
full access to the rest of the event.
Below are the objectives of the Student Programme:
1. Promote local development of the next generation of leaders in the energy industry;
and
2. Provide students with opportunities to connect with industry professionals as they
embark on a career in the energy industry.
Students who will be selected are entitled to:
‘+ 1 complimentary delegate pass for GASTECH Singapore 2015 and free admission to all
GASTECH Conference and Exhibitions and selected networking events
Dedicated one-day agenda and networking session on the 28" of October 2015
Certificate of participation
Lifetime membership at the Student Programme Alumni
Online networking opportunities (access to forums that connect students/graduates
with other students/graduates and senior officials)
* Online mentoring (a dedicated section for thought leaders to mentor
students/graduates)
