Higher education institutions are encouraged to participate in the event to give opportunity for the Philippines to re-open Philippine educational institutions not only to Jordanians but to the Arab market as well. It may be noted that in the 1980's hundreds of Jordanian and Palestinian students graduated from Philippine universities.
