Reproducing the Issue

1. Logon to the WebUI
2. Navigate to Accounts Management -> Contacts
3. Create a new BP, the duplicate button is not set to active as expected

Resolution
To run the duplicate check you will need to activate the implementations SIC_ADDRESS_SEARCH of the Badi ADDRESS_SEARCH, and
SIC_ADDRESS_UPD_TREXoftheBadiADDRESS_UPDATE.Youcanonlysearchforduplicatesduringthecreation/changingofabusiness
partner if the previous created business partners were indexed (in TREX) after they were saved.
Please carry out the following:
1. Activatebothimplementations,SIC_ADDRESS_SEARCHandSIC_ADDRESS_UPD_TREX.
2. For indexing in TREX you need a RFC-destination to TREX. This RFC destination should be maintained in TA SES_ADMIN as following:
TransactionSES_ADMIN-> Goto Customizing->SystemSettings.HereyoushouldentertheRFCdestinationforTREX.
3. AfteryoumaintainedtheRFCdestinationforTREX,startSES_ADMINIndex-> Create/Activate Indexes, select BAS_BUPA and press
continue
4. Before you begin to work with checking duplicates you should do an initial indexing of the already existing business partners from BUT000.
Therefore you should start the Report SIC_BAS_RSADRINI with the proposed parameters.
5. After that each saved BP will be indexed and will be available for checking duplicates by the creation of new BPs.
6. Please check: Transaction SES_ADMIN -> TREX Admin -> Queue Administration -> Function Set Queue Parameters
7. SelecttheQueueID.....BAS_BUPA___1andsettheparameterReplicateAfterSynchronize>On.
ScheduleTimeAll-0:01
8. Eventually, you can start again the report SIC_BAS_RSADRINI and after 1 minute the data will be indexed in TREX.
