ENTERING THE CLASSROOM IN THE MORNING

State the Procedure:
Today, we will learn the correct procedures to enter into the classroom.
Generate Rational:
It is important to know the correct procedures when entering the classroom so that every
student understands where to put their book bags, their class folder, where to be seated
and where to put homework from the night before. This will ensure all students are
prepared to begin their day and to be on task.

Upon entering, students are to place their book bags in their cubby.
Students will place their homework folder in the correct bin on the teachers desk.
Students will place any notes from home in the correct bin on the teachers desk.
Students will copy the daily assignments in their notebook.
Students will get pencils and journals out and on the desk.
Students will sit in their assigned seats and wait for further instructions.

room. Make necessary corrections for mistakes that were made by students during
the modeling procedure.

Practice and reteach steps to students that do the procedures incorrectly. Give
positive feedback to students that do the correct procedures.
