The intent of this letter is to express my interest in a position with your company. Having served
20 years in the U.S. military with the last 10 in supervisor positions I feel that I have a lot to
offer your organization. During my career I obtained training and education to fulfill my goals of
becoming as proficient as possible in every capacity in which I served; by doing so I acquired
several instructor certifications, became an Emergency Medical Technician, and attained the rank
of Senior Chief Petty Officer, the second highest enlisted rank in the military. As you will see
from my enclosed resume, I have an extensive law enforcement background which I feel has
strengthened both my managerial skills and my ability to work with the public.
My education and experience have helped me to enhance interpersonal and customer service
skills, develop Emergency Management guidelines, planning, and overall security and efficiency.
