Study in Germany

Introduction to German Education:

Mostly Pakistanis have no concept about German Studies and other information
due to lack of information. People who are interested to study abroad like USA,
CANADA AUSTRILA etc can find a lot of information, guidance and
consultants. In Germany the education is free so no university offers commission
to agents but the main problem of German is language.

undergraduate or postgraduate studies are not available for international
students. Students who already have obtained a master's degree may
apply for a scholarship to carry out research at a German institution of
higher education. There are a number of scholarships offered each year
under various schemes. Details are available from DAAD.
DAAD is an organization of the German universities, "Facchochschulen"

represents them abroad and supports their international academic and

German Language
To live in Germany, German language is very important. German is the language
of instruction of German Universities, with the exception of some graduate and
postgraduate courses which are held in the English or another foreign language
or the International degree programs which some universities have introduced
and in which courses are instructed in English, at least in the initial semesters.

Not a single university offers basic German Language courses. German Embassy
will not give you visa if you have not at least basic knowledge of German
language (Situation may vary Course to course and university to university).
Mostly Universities require DSH (language proficiency test of admission to
Higher education) language test, which is test of Proficiency of German
Language like TOEFL and IELTS for English. Some universities allow you to
prepare for DSH test before continue their studies, but for that you should have
400-500 hours of lesson, which is equal to Basic Level 2 (GrundStuffe II) or Basic
Level 3 (GrundStuffe III) of Goethe Institute. In Goethe Centre Lahore the Basic
Level 6 equal to Basic Level 3.
German Language courses at Germany are really very costly. The cost varies
University to University but language cost is round about in between 50,000 to
2,00,000 depending on your past German Language Skills. So learn German
Language more and more here in Pakistan, it will be helpful in Germany both
socially and economically. You should start German language 6 months before
applying in universities.
You should have at least basic level 2 (GrundStuffe II 320 hours of study) or Basic
Level 3 (GrundStuffe III 480 hours of study) know ledge of German Language.
Level is not important university will evaluate how many hours have you
studied before applying. If you are working part-time in German and your
German is not good then Germans will pay you less with the lame excuse of nonproficiency of German language.
