What is it ?
A hot, in situ, recycling process for surface
courses 30 years. Approved under Cl926
SHW.

How it works:
Surface heated to 150oC
Scarified to c.25mm,reprofiled and
compacted.
New surface course added and fused to
recycled material.

How it works
Pavement depth is reconstructed to 150-350mm
Trial holes taken - mix design in accordance with TRL 611
or 386
Existing pavement scarified to design depth hydraulic
binder mixed in.
Compacted & graded to new levels overlaid with new
asphalt surface course.
