Grading & Reporting Procedure

General Information
Using the K-3 Electronic Gradebook
1. Go to the MCPS home page

Entering MP grades for Grade 4 & 5

1. Login to myMCPS

2.

Click on Staff

2.

Click on Assessment

3.

Click on the Student Data tab

3.

Click on Score Entry in Assessment Links

4.

Click on Elementary Schools, next to Electronic

Gradebook.

Suggested Workflow

Key Dates

Monday, June 17: Professional Day for

Teachers; Report Card Prep/ Planning day for
teachers.
Tuesday, June 18: All school grades need to
be submitted by principal by 12 pm.

Grade 4/5

Teachers are to enter MP4 and Course Final

Grades in to the Data Collection Tool
Prior marking period grades are available
from the Unofficial Report Card
