What is an
Entrepreneur?

An Entrepreneur is one who is a


strong leader, but also one who could
create a business targeting a specific
area in the economy. They are ones
who creates a business and makes the
effort to get the business going and
controlling most of the operations.

Duties of an Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurs are the founders of companies and they are usually the beating heart of the
enconomy. They are the ones who start companies targeting a gap between the want and
the need of the consumer. Entrepreneurs are skilled at selling against their competition as
the are able to change the appearance or make their product look unique. Entrepreneurs
also look for places that their competition has missed and they try to fill that hole in with
their own company.

Why Entrepreneurship is Important

Able to greatly improve our lifestyles

Could create lots of jobs

Employment and Salary


As the fact that entrepreneurs are self employed and makes companies, they cant exactly
be employed. This also leads to the fact that they could make a huge range of money. One
that creates a successful computer company may make billions while an hot dog stand owner
may only make a couple of hundred.
