BRAKE SYSTEM DESIGN :OBJECTIVES:The Purpose of brakes is to stop a vehicle safely and effectively.

In order to achieve
maximum Performance form the Braking System, Brakes Must lock the wheels,
While Minimizing the cost and weight.

Discussion Of Alternatives:For Brakes System we had to choice either use brake drum or disc brake. In order to
maintain safety of a vehicle we decided to use Disc brake because of need of
faster response, and more braking Force generation.
Unlike drum Brakes , disc Brake has Limited self-Energizing action making
necessary to apply great Hydraulic Pressure to Obtain Sufficient Braking Force. We
use Smaller Caliper piston in order to provide maximum Clamp Load.

Brake disc
Master Cylinder
Brake calipers

Cast Iron
