The Basics!

Hi! My name is Mallory Dunn. I will be

your childs speech-language
pathologist for the 2015-2016 school
year. I am 24 years young. I grew up
in Vernon Hills, and am a Hawthorn
and VHHS alum!

My Education!
In May of 2013, I graduated with a Bachelors
of Science in Speech and Hearing Science
from the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign. I studied abroad in Granada,
Spain for a semester and earned a minor in
Spanish with a concentration in linguistics. I
completed my graduate coursework at
Eastern Illinois University and graduated in
May of of 2015 with a Masters of Science in
Communication Disorders and Sciences.

My Passion:
Travel
While I was a student at U of I,
I studied abroad in Granada,
Spain for a semester. I lived
with a host family for 5
months. I traveled all through
Spain and to Italy, Greece,
Czech Republic, Austria,
Hungary, and Portugal. While I
was completing my graduate
coursework, I completed an
independent study in Australia
and New Zealand on cultural
and dialectal differences. I
love meeting different types
of people from all around the
world. Languages and cultures
fascinate me!
