Fingerplay
There are five senses we all have.
(hold up five fingers)
Can you guess what they are?
(point to a child)
See, hear, taste, touch, smell.
(point to eyes, ears, tongue, hand, & nose)
See, hear, taste, touch, smell
See, hear, taste, touch, smell
And these are our five senses.
(hold up five fingers)

Fingerplay
I have two eyes to see with,
(point to eyes)
I have two feet to run with,
(point to feet)
I have two hands to wave with,
(wave)
And nose, I have but one.
(point to nose and hold up one finger)
I have two ears to hear with
(point to ears)
And a tongue to say good day!
(point to tongue)
And two red cheeks for you to kiss,
(point to cheeks)
And now Ill run away.
(turn and act like running)

Song
Tune of: The Farmer In The Dell
I use my eyes to see, I use my eyes to see.
And when I want to see a star,
I use my eyes to see.
I use my nose to smell, I use my nose to smell.
And when I want to smell a flower,
I use my nose to smell.
I use my tongue to taste, I use my tongue to taste.
And when I want to taste a peach,
I use my tongue to taste.
I use my ears to hear, I use my ears to hear.
And when I want to hear a bird,
I use my ears to hear.
I use my hands to touch, I use my hands to touch.
And when I want to touch a cat,
I use my hands to touch.
