Welcome!
Welcome to 8th grade math! I am excited to be teaching 8th grade math
again for my second year. This is my
second year in the district and my third
year of teaching math.

Course Info/grades

Assignments
Most of the work will be
done in class. However, if an
assignment is not finished it
is homework.

There are three types of grades, daily

grades (classwork), tests/quizzes, and
6 weeks tests. Any daily grades or
tests may be redone for half of missed
points back. The assignment must
have ALL work shown to receive credit.

In my class, we will be taking

notes in notebooks as well as
doing practice in them. If you
get stuck on a problem or need
help, please use these as a tool to help you.

TECHNOLOGY
Technology will be used almost daily in
the classroom. If at any time technology
is not being used for math purposes it will be taken up and given to
the office. This includes iPads, phones,
and other devices.
