Wegmans Westwood Announces Executive Leadership Team

Nearly 120 years of combined Wegmans experience will lead new Westwood store
opening this October
WESTWOOD, MA August 31, 2015Wegmans Food Markets today announced the management
team of the newest Massachusetts Wegmans store located at 169 University Avenue in Westwood. The
incredibly skilled team has almost 120 combined years of Wegmans experience working at several
locations across the country. The team consists of the Store Manager, Executive Chef, Pharmacy
Manager and Area Managers who each oversee various departments within the store. Each member of
the leadership team is thrilled to help develop the ever-growing Wegmans family and looks forward to
welcoming the Westwood community on opening day on Sunday, October 11.

Dave Orlovsky, Store Manager

Orlovsky, a Shrewsbury resident, has been a part of the Wegmans family for over 25 years. He
first joined as a Customer Service employee in the prepared foods department in Johnson City,
NY. In 1995, Orlovsky joined the Management Training Program and soon became the Produce
Manager of the Elmira, NY store. He rose from Produce Manager to Assistant Store Manager,
and later to Store Manager. Orlovsky moved to Massachusetts in 2013 to be the Store Manager
of the first New England Wegmans location in Northborough. Two years later, he was given the
opportunity to be the Store Manger of the Westwood Wegmans location. In this role, Orlovsky will
lead 550 employees to provide over-the-top customer service Wegmans is known for.

Brendan Newhart, Executive Chef

Newhart, who resides in Hopedale, began his career with Wegmans in Rochester, NY as a Team
Leader five years ago. In 2011, he joined the Wegmans team in New England as a Sous Chef for
the Northborough store. Chef Newhart will be the Executive Chef at Wegmans Westwood
opening this fall. With more than sixteen years of restaurant and hotel experience, along with a
degree in Culinary Arts and Service Management, Newhart will lead the Prepared Foods team of
over 140 culinary professionals to deliver on Wegmans promise of high standards and incredible
customer service.

Frank Fields, Perishable Area Manager

Fields has been a part of the Wegmans family since 2000 and has held various positions,
including Service Team Leader, Restaurant Manager and Service Area Manager. As the
Perishable Area Manager for Westwood, Fields will oversee product quality, sales,
merchandising, employee development and performance to ensure the store operates efficiently.
Fields, who resides in Providence, will fulfill customer needs by ensuring that the freshest, finest

products are available.

Alicia Elliott, Service Area Manager

Elliott, who resides in Marlborough, has been with Wegmans family since 1980 and has grown
within the family by working several positions, including Produce Manager, Corporate Accounting,
Front End Manager, and Non Licensed Pharmacy Manager. Elliott moved to Massachusetts in
2014 to assume the position of Service Area Manager for the Burlington store. In this position,
Elliott will lead all aspects of customer service as well as employee development, growth and
community partnerships.

Lisa Landry, Merchandising Area Manager

Landry began working for Wegmans in 1985 while in high school and since then has enjoyed a
variety of positions at the company, including Cheese Team Leader, Bakery Team Leader, Night
Manager, and Front End Manager. Landry also has experience working as an Operations
Coordinator in the corporate office. Now a Norwood resident and Merchandising Area Manager
for Westwood, Landry will oversee all merchandising departments, including Grocery, Natures
Marketplace, Wine, and will work with the entire store to ensure products are well-merchandised
and easily accessible for customers.

Cassie Lawatsch, Pharmacy Area Manager

Cassie Lawatsch, PharmD, graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in
2013 and now lives in Boston. A Wegmans employee since 2006, she began as a Pharmacy
Technician and has grown into her profession at Wegmans. As Pharmacy Manager in Westwood,
Lawatsch will oversee all aspects of the pharmacy department to ensure customers are provided
with the service and items they need to live a healthy life, including health and wellness
consultation, immunizations, auto-refill, and competitively low prices on select generic
prescriptions.

Wegmans Westwood will be 122,000 square-feet and will include a Market Caf with indoor and outdoor
seating for nearly 300, as well as a complete wine and beer shop. Wegmans Westwood will host open
interviews for interested applicants on Thursday, September 10 to Saturday, September 12 from 10 a.m.
to 6 p.m. at the Westwood employment office at 685 Canton St., Westwood, MA.
The grand opening celebration will be held on Sunday, October 11 starting at 7 a.m. Today, the store
launched www.wegmans.com/westwood, which provides store information, including hours, and blog
posts by the leadership team.
