Permission For Absence Form (PFA) must be turned in according
to the policies below, in order to be allowed to do the make-up assignment: (see page 8, 12 &13)
Previous scheduled conflict such as sports or appointments (must be
turned in 1 week in advance to avoid lowered grade, no grade, or non-performance status). The 1 week deadline will be strictly enforced. PFA for last minute emergencies must be receive within 2 school days to avoid lowered grade, no grade, or non-performance status) This 2 day deadline will be strictly enforced.
Sports Programs- Turn in PFA with your sports schedule as
described above. Please make sure your coach is aware of your academic responsibilities, and I will try to accommodate your sports schedule as much as possible. I will be happy to talk to your coach if necessary.
Concert Make-up Assignment

Subject will be to research any of your concert pieces specifically for the missed concert. You may include the genre, the composer, and other musical aspects of the piece. Resources- 40 points/page. Please use a simple 2 part parenthetical documentation, as per MLA format. Citations in the text of a paper refers to the Works Cited list that appears at the end of your paper. www.library.cornell.edu/research/citation/mla Your first resource must be a book, encyclopedia, or database, in order to receive credit for any of your resources. Additional resources may be your choice. The number of different resources must be the same as the number of pages that you have submitted.
