What I researched.
I researched does listening to music have a
positive or negative effect on a student's
focus level while doing school work.

My hypothesis
My hypothesis was that i think that listening to
music would have a positive effect on a
student's focus level.

Method of research
I chose to do a survey to collect my data.
I asked people who were in all grade levels
(elementary, middle school, high school, and
college) to take my survey. Also I had put it
out on social media
I had 81 responses for my survey.

Analysis
After all my responses I looked at the pie
graph & observed my results
I was looking for who listened to music while
doing school work, if it helps them focus or if
it effect them negativity

Results
89% listen to music
28% listen to music
loud while doing
work
84% say it helps
them focus
48% say it effects
their test taking not

11% don't listen to

music
62% listen to music
medium & 3% low
16% say it doesnt
help them focus
52% say it doesn't
effect their test

Conclusion
My hypothesis was kind of disproving
because if 84% of the people who too my
survey say it helps them focus better but
63% of students that took my survey say
they cannot read and listen to music at the
same time.

Things I would do differently

Ask more questions
Make my questions multiple choice instead of
extended response because it was harder
analyzing it with many different responses
