1.

The monthly fee is $60.00 for hour lesson and $80.00 for 45 minute lesson
and is due by the first week of each month. This remains the same for each
month during the school year (September 1 through May 20). The monthly fee is
based on 10 lessons per quarter.

Make-ups will only be given if time permits, due to an illness or an emergency, I

will try to make accommodations for a makeup lesson, but it is not guaranteed.
I will be saving some time at the end of each quarter for some make-ups for the
above reasons. For any reason that I ever have to cancel a lesson, you will either
receive a full credit or a make-up lesson.

Students are encouraged to practice daily.

If you plan on discontinuing lessons at anytime, 2 weeks notice is required and

appreciated.

5.

Please note that I do not hold spots. If you need a month off and would like to
keep your spot, you will be required to pay the monthly fee to keep it. If not, I
will put you at the top of my waiting list and fill the spot. (Sorry for any
inconvenience this may cause).

If you have more than one child who wants lessons, then they are each required to
have their own lesson times.

7.

Masterclasses Once a quarter we will have a group lesson. It is a one hour

session. These are required and extremely valuable for your children. They gain
a lot of confidence with performing. And of course have a lot of fun! No private
lessons will be given during this week, so please make arrangements to choose a
masterclass from the schedule and be there. (schedule of times will be provided
prior to masterclass)

8.

There will be approximately 2 formal recitals during the year, PLEASE plan on
attending, this is very important for all of the students. The first recital is usually
planned for November and the second in April. We will also be participating in
SUPAF in the spring. (Southern Utah Performing Arts Festival)

Summer Quarter
June 6-end of August. (12 weeks)
Consistency with practice and study through the summer months is important when
studying music even if less frequent. It is understandable that all families have
vacations and other things that make steady lessons difficult during these
months.
If you would like to continue lessons in the fall, you will be required to come to at least 6
lessons during the summer. If you are unable to do so, you may pay for a total
of 6 lessons and I will hold your spot for you until September. Summer
lessons are $15.00/lesson for 30 minutes and $20.00/lesson for 45 minutes. If
not, I will put you on the top of my waiting list and notify you when a spot
