Labor Day Monday No School

Language Arts:
Letters of the week: Aa, Bb & Cc
Penmanship: Correct formation of
letters using horizontal, vertical, diagonal
and curved to describe letter lines. We
will practice and review letters in our ABC
Rainbow books.
Sounds: Rhyming words and
Listening for beginning, middle and ending
sounds.
Shared reading: School Unit: reading
and discussing stories about school.

Math:
Identifying and naming shapes: Circle,
square, rectangle, and triangle.

Wonderful Wednesday:
Science: Discovery Question: What
things float?
Social Science: School: Who works at
School?
Music & Movement; Can you follow
directions to music? Can you do it with a
bean bag?

Character Education:
Responsibility Bringing the folder

home and back to school each day is each

students responsibility. Also it is
important to take snack containers and
water bottles home each day.

Heroes/Patriot Day School Assembly. If
you would like to donate cookies to be
delivered to our area law enforcement
and fire departments, please bring
them to the office by Thursday morning
Sept. 10.

generous donations of supplies. Our

cupboards are full and we are ready for
the year. If you are interested in
donating other items to our class we are
always in need of the following: Amazon
gift cards for labels and photo paper,
Handi-Wipes (we love them!) Kleenex
Target or Lakeshore gift cards to renew
our classroom toys
