Proceedings:
The registered teams of 3-4 members each will be given transcripts of
3 companys conference call along with its financial statements
Based on the reading material, there will be 3 separate quizzes based
on the 3 companies. (1 quiz about each company 10 mins each)
Teams will have to give their order of preference of the companies out
of these 3 and weighted average of marks based on the teams
preference will be taken
o Preference 1 Company - 50%
o Preference 2 Company - 30%
o Preference 3 Company - 20%
Top 12 teams in the quiz will proceed to the next round
The top 12 teams will represent a companys board of directors
Teams can choose any listed company on S&P BSE 30/CNX Nifty 50
Each team would be given 12 minutes to present their companys
financials and growth prospects/strategy, followed by 8 minutes Q&A
session
Judges would assume the role of investors and other public
representatives, asking questions based on the companys
performance
The teams are expected to validate and substantiate every step the
company has taken during that quarter and should be in a position to
justify the actions taken which has led to the outcomes
Top 3 teams will proceed to round 3
Teams will continue with the respective companies
In this round the students will face the industry seniors (guests during
Finomenal15) where the judges will ask questions about the
companys performance and future
The teams will be given 20 minutes for their presentation followed by
a 10 minute Q&A round
