Govt. was determined to spread education & literacy throughout the

The NWFP Minister for Education and Literacy, Sardar Hussain Babak has said
that government was determined to spread education and literacy throughout the
province without any discrimination, caste and creed.

This he said while addressing at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary
Education Mardan's function. Others present on the occasion were the Secretary
Education and Literacy, Muhammad Arifeen, DCO Mardan, Syed Mubashar
Hussain, elite of the area, nazimeen, teachers and staff of the board.

Sardar Babak said that education department was sensitive and respected one and
nation in general and people of province had great expectations of staff of
department, therefore, the staff should feel their duties and responsibilities
dedicatedly and honestly, he continued.� He said that Islam had asked to acquire
knowledge and wisdom but certain elements had come out to stop the way of
providing to children. He said government was providing free books, education
and other allied facilities to the children. He also announced one month bonus
(pay) for the employees and staff of the board.

District Nazim Himayatullah Mayar also assured the board employees that their
genuine demands would be tabled to Chief Minister. He said educational
development programmes for Mardan were on the way and a university would
soon start working. Besides Agricultural Campus and University was also being
launch. Earlier, the Chairman of Board, Fazal Mehmood Khan in his welcome
address, highlighted the activities of the board.

Earlier Sardar Hussain Babak went round the various sections of the board and
inaugurated the secrecy digital security system, family quarters and resident of the
chairman.
