QUESTION TAGS

Un Question Tag es una pregunta corta que viene detrs de una frase,
afirmativa o negativa. Cuando no estamos del todo seguros de lo que
decimos y queremos una confirmacin, usamos un Question Tag.

la Question Tag siempre se hace con el verbo auxiliar. Hay muchos verbos
auxiliares: do, does, will, are, is, would, should, can, etc (y todos sus
variantes negativos). Aqu hay ms ejemplos con varios verbos auxiliares

You would tell me, wouldnt you?

She cant come, can she?

They arent working, are they?

She likes the Beatles, doesnt she?

Casos peligrosos:
1) Use arent with Im in questions tags.
Im a bit careless, arent I?
NOT

Im a bit careless, am not I?

2) In present and past simple sentences, use do, does or did in the question tag.
Brian and Cathy dont eat meat, do they?
You dad lives abroad, doesnt he?
Your friends enjoyed themselves, didnt they?
3) Use a positive question tag after never.
Miles never goes out, does he?
4) After Let's...the question tag is shall we = Let's go for a walk, shall we?
5) After Don't...the question tag is will you = don't be late, will you?

6)After I'm ...the negative question tag is aren't I? = I'm right, aren't I?
