ABSTRACT
The definition of quality is something that is effective and efficient both in terms of
time, cost and quality. Deviations quality that often occurs during the execution of
one pavement thickness, so the purpose of this study was to compare the existing
pavement thickness both in the field of flexible pavement and rigid pavement
design to the author with flexible pavement design life of 20 years, and 40 years
rigid pavement..
This thesis is only to determine deviations of the existing pavement thickness field,
which is focused on the By-Pass Road Project Soekarno-Hatta (Package B)
Bandar Lampung Kalibalok particular intersection to intersection Pugung PJR.
The data has been collected to analysis, the calculation is then performed
berkerasan thick road using AASHTO 1993
Based on the analysis of the data processing, the thickness of which is used on
more field refers to the first phase of the design using the design life of 5 years,
where the value of the surface layer of 12 cm, a layer between 30 cm and 20 cm
base layer. Then in the second phase with a design life of 15 years the value of the
surface layer of 14 cm, and for rigid pavement field experienced 33.3% thicker
than the author analyzes the data processing. Plan to Phase I budget is Rp.
46,862,522,000, - and in the second stage is Rp. 51,136,652,000, -.
