Clark-Pleasant
Cross Country Challenge
Who: Kindergarten thru 6th grade students from these elementary schools:
Sawmill Woods, Break-O-Day, Whiteland, Pleasant Crossing, Clark Elementary and
Clark-Pleasant Intermediate.
What: 1K race (just over mile)
When: Wednesday, September 30th
Please be there no later than 30 minutes before the start of your race.
5:15- K thru 2nd grade Girls fun run (no scores/times/all participants will receive a ribbon)
5:30- K thru 2nd grade boys fun run (no scores/times/ all participants will receive a ribbon)
5:45- Elementary Girls 1K race (3rd and 4th grade)
6:00- Elementary Boys 1K race (3rd and 4th grade)
6:15- 5th and 6th grade race (boys and girls combined)
6:30- Awards (Top 25 individuals in each race will be announced at this time. All other
runners will get their ribbons in the finish chute.)
Where: Break-O-Day Elementary School (This is the home course for the high school cross
country team.)
Why: To see who the fastest boys and girls are in the Clark-Pleasant Community School
Corporation! Trophies will be awarded to the top boys and girls teams from the elementary
school division. Each elementary school is racing AS A TEAM against the other elementary
schools.
How Much: Entry fee for the race is $5.00 per child.
* All proceeds will pay for awards and benefit the high school cross country teams!
How to register: You can pre-register by sending your information to the correct location
(information on the back of this sheet) OR you can register the day of the meet.
* Pre-registration is strongly recommended!

Please turn all registration forms into your running coaches or the secretary at each school! Registrations must
be turned in by Friday, September 25th or you will have to register the day of the meet.

Please note: We will not be ordering T-shirts this year. In the past each school has worn the following color Tshirt for the meet.
Break-O-Day= Yellow
Clark= Green
Pleasant Crossing= Red
Whiteland= Blue
Sawmill Woods= Purple
C.P.I= Orange
