Canyons, mesas, and buttes are all formed by erosion.

Latitude is measured North/South from the equator
Longitude is measures East/West from the Prime Meridian
Two valuable resources for the Southwest are: water and oil.
Butte, Mesa, Platue these are table top landforms (hint: BMP alphabetical order
from smallest to largest).
The Grand Canyon was formed by the erosion by the Colorado River.
The Grand Canyon is approximately 216 miles long .
Crude Oil is refined or separated into many parts at a Refinery.
Black Gold is the nick name for petroleum because of the high value.
