SUN The Sun is a persons will to be and thus the generator of all the energy of life. In
Astrology, the Sun stands for consciousness, pride, powers, courage, leadership and command. It
is linked with fatherhood, children royalty and the stage. LEO
GODS Greek Helios the Sun God, Roman Apollo, son of Zeus, Egyptian Ra, a central deity of
great importance.

MOON The Moon stands for the feminine, receptive and imaginative side of our nature and is
associated with maternal and sympathetic instincts. Domestic life and relationship with family.
Attachment to origin and tradition protective and nurturing. Adaptable, intuitive and possessive.
CANCER

MERCURY The rational mind and active intelligence. Mercury gives man the need to know and

GODS Greek Hermes God of the mind and science, Roman messenger of the Gods, Egyptian
Thoth God of Magic.

VENUS All attempts to reach the centre and partake in communication with oneself and others.
The urge for personal union with another. In relationship to. True relatedness love and sharing.
Portrays happiness by harmonising the emotions. Bringer of peace. TAURUS / LIBRA
GODS Greek - Aphrodite, Roman Venues, Goddess of beauty and love, Egyptian Nuit,
Goddess of the night.

MARS The principles of energy, force, will, desire and passion. Manifestation of intuitive,
assertion and aggression. The urge to win and succeed. All forms of outwardly directed activity.
Dynamic energy, sex drive, courage and ambition. The ego in action, the fighting spirit. ARIES
GODS Greek Ares, God of war, son of Zeus and Hera and one of the 12 Olympians, Roman
Mars, Ares, Egyptian Sekhmet, daughter of Ra and dispenser of divine vengeance.

JUPITER Expansion of interests, good fortune and opportunity. Optimism and generosity. The

SATURN Represents lifes limitations. It forces fulfilment of obligations and responsibilities,


so that personal growth can occur. It shows patience, hard work, thrift and reliability. It is the
teacher who shows us the purpose of restriction.

GODS Greek Kronus, who swallowed his children, Roman Saturn, the God of time.

URANUS Erratic activities and sudden flashes of intuition. Breaking away from convention. The
ability to bypass logic and make a mental leap into the unknown,. Original concepts, quick
perceptions, experimentation. Psychic sensitivity. Genius the awakener. Eccentricity.
AQUARIUS
GODS Greek Ouranos, the original sky father, first chid of Gaia, Roman Uranus, essential
force of creation.

NEPTUNE Raises and sensitises everything it touches. The illusive planet of transformation,
dissolving attitudes and awakening. Compassion, idealism, receptivity, creativity, spirituality and
divine discontent. Transcendent knowledge and bliss. Mystical visions, secrets, otherworldly.
PISCES

therefore of the collective unconscious.

PLUTO Transformation, death and regeneration. Energy that breaks down psychological blocks
that prevent evolutionary growth. Intense release of energy, emotionally, physically and sexually.
The place of denial. The eliminator, annihilator, redeemer and renewer of the life force.
SCORPIO
GODS Greek Hades, God of the dead, Roman Pluto, son of Saturn / Cronus, Lord of the
underworld.

CHIRON The wounded healer. It governs the crisis we go through to expand our level of
consciousness. It relates to the part of us that is wounded. The sacred wound. The new age
healer, teacher, one who channels. Initiator into higher energies. Path to intuition. VIRGO /
SAGITTARIUS

GODS Greek Chiron, King of the Centaurs, wise and refined, healer and teacher. Wounded
accidentally, he was unable to cure himself.
