Ipsoot: Guideline Rating Clarifications

Rating Tips
• Double check before you click: It is very easy to mis-click the wrong rating accidentally when working fast. Mis-clicks
can significantly impact the quality of data on the project. Please take extra care when submitting each rating.

• Remember - posts can be on-topic for multiple topics: For example, content focused on a TV show dedicating to
travelling can related to both Travel and TV & Movies.

• Avoid subjective opinions: Don’t make assumptions based on personal bias. You should quickly check search results or
Wikipedia to see if the content type is associated with the topic.

• Maintain very high attention to detail: Always check the headlines, captions and media for any posts for clues about
the relevance. Aim to maintain high attention to detail and focus while rating. Remember to take breaks when
needed.

• Remember – post must be relevant for users interested in this topic: Fully review both the topic title and definition
Some posts may only mention a topic, and they will not necessarily be relevant for users interested in this type of
content.

• No-Topic: Remember to always select No-Topic if no topic applies, even if one of the additional attributes is selected.
