Quiz #2

Quiz: Do audiences want cartoon heroes and villains in the Marvel movies or do

they want the kind of complicated characters that are now commonly portrayed in crime

movies since The Godfather? Discuss at least 2 specific examples.

Answer: I believe that most people like me prefer a real villain and hero instead of a

cartoon one, because I’ve seen a lot of movies that portrayed them in a perfect way, first they

introduce it, and later on show how past events developed his character, like a loss one, injustice

or to prove their point, a perfect example can be Ironman and its sequels, In the first movies

Tony Stark is a greedy, and careless business man, who would do anything just to better his

business, but in the development of these movies it is shown his reasons to be, and how he starts

to change his character towards people. I personally love the Ironman’s character because marvel

show us how he changes from movie to next movie, and his reasons for his behavior. My second

pick is Interstellar, based in a futuristic earth, Cooper, they main character is set on a mission to

find an habitable planet for humans because earth is not hospitable for us no more, throughout

the movie we are shown the sacrifice, pain, and love that Cooper goes throughout his journey, I

recommend you professor watching this movie, pure art.

Last Name 2

From experience me and my friends prefer real villains and heroes, we prefer it because

movies like Avengers, The Irishman, or ironman usually portray them in a good way, most are

misunderstood or suffered a tragic event and some movies try to make you familiarize with them

and understand why they do the things they do, Although this is not the case sometimes, cartoon

heroes and villains can also be portrayed in a good way just like a real actor, an example of this

in a movie may be Kingpin from Spider Man Multiverse, but why this example? Kingpin was a

dad and was married but, in a car crash he lost his wife and son, so he tries to make a machine to

travel to another universe and recover his family, he is willing to destroy his universe just to see

his family back and even though the movie shows him first just as a villain, as the movie goes it

develops and show his main reasons.
