• NOTE: Fan pages are usually only created for well known figures, so if you use a search
engine to find this person and then you notice the Instagram account in question does
not have a blue check (verified) next to their name, it’s likely it’s a fan page instead of
the official page. Examples:

Q2. Does the account self-identify as a content aggregator?
• Yes
• No
6 l
A content aggregator is an account that curates content from different online sources (users,
52 tia
sites, etc.). Signals to look for:
• Bio, user name, content, OR user handle directly says intent to aggregate content (e.g.
DM for Credit, Submit to be Featured). Examples:

Q3. Are 75+% of account’s most recent posts unoriginal?
• Yes
• No
A major signal of unoriginality is the presence of attribution in either the post itself or in the
nf
caption.
1. Attribution words / phrases to look for in captions include (but aren’t limited to):
Credits, DM for Credit, Via, Video Creator Unknown, TikTok, Douyin, #reposts, By, and
emojis such as 📷 and 🎥
2. Captions with attribution words / phrases / emojis without explicit handles still count, as
this is the account declaring that the content does not belong to them

video they created on TikTok, and the watermark user handle still reflects the same
entit.

Sometimes the post in question does not mention that the content was created by someone
else, but other recent posts do. Examples:

Another signal to look out for is each recent post is not filmed by the same entity nor
about/featuring the entity or their work. For example, each recent post features a different
entity (person, animal, groups of people, completely different editing / storytelling personas,
Co
etc.). Examples:

Escalation Guidelines:
Immediate Escalation: If the content contains imagery or text/voice indicating or soliciting Child
Exploitation, Child Nudity or Human Trafficking, escalate the Job ID immediately to your
manager. Child Exploitive Imagery (CEI) refers to imagery (images, videos) depicting the sexual
exploitation of a child. Human Trafficking includes the recruiting, transporting, or harboring of
people by means of threat, coercion, or fraud for the purpose of exploitation. That exploitation
can come in many different forms, including sexual exploitation, forced slavery, slavery,
servitude, or the removal of organs. If you are not comfortable reviewing the content you can
skip the job after escalating. Vendor managers should use the Contact Form to route job ids
6 l
into CO Safety queues(CEI should never be screenshot or replicated in any way as it only further
exacerbates the issue. Please always look to use task/job number for issue identification.)
