Robotic Systems:
-a robotic system is an intergraded system of devices that
automate production and manufacturing of goods and
services.
-Robotic systems are designed specifically for a certain
task(s), in most cases where humans cannot do the work
as efficiently.
-Robotic systems are composed of many components, all
aiding in typically flawless outputs.
-A robot has serval but not necessarily all of the following
features. It:

Moves
Senses
reacts
can be programmed
Is under human control

Some reasons why robots are used in industry instead of

humans are:
Robots produce more accurate and high quality work
They can produce a greater quantity in a shorter
amount of time
They can work at a constant speed with no breaks,
days off, or holiday time
Robots save workers from preforming dangerous
tasks.

They can work in hazardous conditions, such as poor

lighting, toxic chemicals, or tight spaces
They are capable of lifting heavy loads without injury
or tiring
Robots increase worker safety by preventing
accidents since humans are not performing risky jobs
They reduce the amount of wasted material because
they are so accurate.
Common Robot Tasks:
Two examples of industries that use robots are:
1)Automotive manufacturing: Robots are used for
assembly and testing of vehicles.
2)General Manufacturing: Robots are used for
processing, packing, labeling, etc. the goods being
manufacturing.
