AC VS DC

BY: ERICA THORNE AND REBECCA ROSE

AC CURRENT:
is an electric current in which the flow of electric charge
periodically reverses direction.

DC CURRENT:
is the unidirectional flow of electric charge. Direct current is
produced by sources such as batteries, power supplies,
thermocouples, solar cells, or dynamos.

AC VS DC:
Electrical current is the flow of charged particles, or specifically in the case of AC
and DC, the flow of electrons.
Alternating current (AC) describes the flow of charge that changes direction
periodically. As a result, the voltage level also reverses along with the current.
Directing current flows constant in one direction and is continuously flowing the
same way. Alternating current is a current in which the flow of the electric charge is
periodically changing direction.
They are opposite of each other.

PROS AND CONS:

The first advantage AC power has over DC is in power transmission.
AC's next advantage is in power generation.
AC also has an advantage when it comes to power consumption.
Modern lighting also works better with AC power.
DC conserves energy.
AC and high voltage are dangerous for family group to try to produce
DC is the simple positive-and-negative type of electricity
AC electricity is a little more complicated because it switches back and forth,
