Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is a Deemed University under Department of Commerce,
Government of India.
The Institute intends to engage a person purely on contractual basis to work as Research
Assistant for a DST project at IIFT, New Delhi.
Job Profile: Research Assistant will be assisting PI and Co-PI at all stages for Research
project.
Other activities of profile include database research, literature review, downloading, mail
and e-mail correspondence, telephonic follow ups with participants/ experts, developing
database of experts and companies, maintaining records and files etc.
Coordination at all stages of project activities and conducting surveys / personal
interviews in Delhi / NCR and other states which will require local and outstation travel,
coordination with external consultant, tour & travel arrangement of teams, organizing for
workshops, conferences, events, taking appointments, visiting companies, industry associations
for building interface, industry network etc, collection and collating of data from forms for
creating database, assistance in making ppt. and final report, follow ups with participants /
experts etc.
Qualification: Graduation in Science stream is essential. A Post graduate in science pursuing
Research would be preferred.
Desirable :

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Aptitude for research
Good knowledge of MS word, Excel and Power Point

Remuneration: All inclusive consolidated Rs. 22,000/- per month.

Period : The services of the person so engaged shall be for 15 months or till the completion of
the project whichever is earlier.
Terms & Conditions: Performance will be assessed throughout the tenure on effectiveness of
project deliverables and punctuality.
