1) The document discusses an experimental study on the effect of lethal doses of methanol on the larval growth of Musca domestica flies.
2) Rats were killed using either methanol poisoning or slaughter, and their carcasses were placed in cages containing Musca domestica flies.
3) The growth of fly larvae was observed every 12 hours from larvae to adult flies. Larvae were measured daily to assess length, weight, and duration of growth.
4) The results showed that larvae grown on carcasses containing lethal doses of methanol grew more slowly than larvae on carcasses without methanol.

CARCASS OF Rattus novergicus strain wistar ON Musca domestica sp. LARVAL GROWTH. Final Assignment, Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University. Supervisor: (1) dr. Sudjari, DTM&H.,M.Si.,Sp.Park. (2) Prof. Sanarto Santoso, SpMK. There is a reasonable mortality also exist that are not fair. Unnatural death is what must befurther explored. In the process of exhumation, to estimate time of death we use the Post Mortem Interval (PMI). One procedure is to send the PMI estimate insect larvae found in the parasitology laboratory to find out how old larvae on the corpse. The growth of fly larvae is strongly influenced by environmental temperature, food, humidity, light intensity, and contaminants. This experimental study using the media of two dead rats with an average weight of 160 grams. The first rat was killed by wayof Methanol 1,5 ml given orally (LD = 900,48 mg / kg). The second rat was killed by meansslaughtered. Both these carcasses have included two cages each containing 50 flies Muscasp. Observed every 12 hours starting from the larval stage of flies from one to adult flies. Each growingmedium 5 larvae were randomly taken every day to measure the length and weight and duration of growth. The results showed that the duration of larval growth in media containing Methanol more slowly than larvae grown on media without content Methanol.
