The document discusses the water cycle, which is an unconscious process where water circulates between different sources and states. It explains that evaporation and transpiration move water from rivers, lakes, and oceans into the air as vapor. Condensation then turns the vapor back into liquid water, which falls as precipitation and runs off into water sources, continuing the cycle. Maintaining the water cycle is important because humans and other living things rely on having access to water.

GENERAL STATEMENT: As a human being, people need water. As it is very important to maintain / keep the condition where more than 75% of the body is water, water is needed to be consumed everyday. Without water we can not survive. There are many water sources such as sea, river, lake, and well. 1ST EXPLANATION: Unconsciously, water experiences complicated cycle. There are five cycles in water cycle namely evaporation, transpiration, condensation, precipitation, and runoff. 2nd explanation (evaporation and transpiration): Evaporation is when the sun heats up water in rivers or lakes or the ocean and turns it into vapor or steam. The water vapor or steam leaves the river, lake or ocean and goes into the air. Transpiration is the process by which plants lose water out of their leaves. Transpiration gives evaporation a bit of a hand in getting the water vapor back up into the air.
