Three upcoming faculty development events at Denton University are summarized. The first event on September 17th from 3:30-5:00 pm in room Denton ACT 601 will discuss neuroinstructional design strategies for engaging today's diverse students and will be presented by Dr. Kristen Betts from Drexel University. The second event on October 1st from 2:30-4:30 pm in room Denton MCL 502 will focus on authentic teaching and bringing one's whole self to the classroom and will feature Judy Rogers from Miami University. A third event on measuring teaching effectiveness will also be presented by Judy Rogers on October 2nd at 8 am in a location to be determined.
