This is to recommend to you the senior Mechanical Engineering student of Cebu
Technological University- Main Campusand is respectfully requesting your company to have
said students being taken in as the engineering apprentice in your prestigious firm. The
apprenticeship is in line with our departments program to have our senior engineering students
to be exposed to actual plant operations. This is considered a pre-requisite for their graduation.
If the applicants will be accepted by your company, it is expected that the OJT-trainees will
undergo 400-man hours exposure, doing assignments related to the students field of practice. It
is understood that his/her experiences in your company will be recorded for the students
subsequent performance evaluation which is requirement for the students completion of the
apprentice program. This will provide our students the much needed practical training to prepare
them for their actual field of practice as the Mechanical Engineering in the future.

I am Dave G. Canillo, a senior Mechanical Engineering student of the College of
Engineering.
I wrote this letter to ask for your humble consideration to endorse me to acompany that I
desire to apply for OJT, regardless of the non-completion of the total OJT document
requirements as pre-requisite, specially the Certificate of Registration(C.O.R) which I could
hardly get before the final examination.
