Dear Engr. Rivera:
The College of Engineering and Technology of the University of St. La Salle, would
like to introduce
Leshi Kojima, a 4 th year Chemical Engineering student to
undergo practicum related to her field under the internship program of the
university. This is part of the requirement of CHED in promoting the well-being and
quality of the tertiary students learning and exposure.
The internship program aims to:

Help students acquire practical knowledge, skills and desirable attitude and
values in reputable industries.
Promote students competitiveness through their training.
Provide opportunities to learn from and network with experienced
professionals, and;
Identify future career directions and become candidates for future job
openings.

The students are required to undergo at least 300 hours of practicum which will
start on April 2015. Since this training is part of the academe program, the
internship coordinator will periodically keep in touch to check the performance of
the students. For any inquiry about the internship program, you can call our office

Should you consider her as a trainee, she shall be considered as such and not as a
regular employee. Rest assured that she is bound to follow your company rules and
policies.
