Expectations

Course Objectives

Attendance (both class and Lab) compulsory

this is also mandated by the EE dept
Performance in the course will be directly
proportional to class attendance
Read previous class notes/references and
come prepared to every class.
Reading assignments
Lab evaluation attendance, preparation and
performance + Lab exam (November 1st week)

1. Understanding the role of sensors in

electronic instrumentation.
2. To be familiar with the major sensors used in
modern instrumentation
3. Understanding the signal conditioning
requirements of various sensors
4. To understand the important factors to be
considered while selecting a sensor for an
application
