    New Insurance Policy

    After working with our health insurer, Fitness Exercise Equipment, Inc. we have
    established a new policy that will encourage our employees to making healthier
    decisions. I hereby notify you that beginning in two months employees who smoke will
    be required to pay 15% more in health care costs than employees who do not smoke.
    This two-month delay between now and the installation of this new policy will give all
    employees who smoke a chance to register in programs that can help people stop
    smoking, which will be provided by C.K. Mitchell. It is my hope that with this new
    policy in place and the programs provided by the company, that those employees who
    smoke would make the best decision and quit.
    If anyone has any concerns please stop by my office. I understand that this will not be an
    easy process for many people but I am willing to work with any employee and do my
    best to improve their health.
