This document provides instructions for calibrating a travel sensor and positioner for a control valve. It involves using a HART communicator to access the sensor calibration menu and adjust the travel sensor count to between 450-750. The positioner calibration process involves using a loop calibrator to power the controller, accessing the setup wizard to configure control parameters like pressure and actuator size based on nameplate data, performing an auto travel calibration, and putting the instrument back in service so the output tracks the input.

1. Open HART Communicator 2. Online 3. Configure / Setup 4. Calibrate 5. Sensor Calibration 6. Tvl Sensor Adjust press OK 3x 7. Out of service (OK) 8. Warning! Adjustment of the travel sensor must be made with instrument and actuator pressure remove. (OK) 9. Instrument type (DVC 6010) 10. Remove the instrument from the actuator (OK). 11. Align hole A and insert the alignment pin. (OK). 12. loosen the screw that secures the feedback arm to the travel sensor shaft (OK). 13. Turn the end of the travel sensor shaft until the travel sensor count is 600 +/150. (OK). Min =450 Max = 750 14. Secure the loosen screw and remove the alignment pin (OK). 15. Re-mount the instrument and return the alignment pin to the hole. (OK). 16. Re-connect the instrument air supply and then set up and calibrate the instrument.
Calibrate Valve positioner
(Jenis Fail Close 667 Fisher0 1. Step 1
2. Step 2 Check Name Plate Valve
Contoh = 3 -15 psi. We need to supply instrument air at regulator supply amount +5. That mean the max pressure at regulator is 20 psi.
3. Step 3 - For Calibration = use LOOP CALIBRATOR
Set 9Vdc or 12mA or 50% - to power up the controller
4. Step 4 Use HART Communicator
- ON HART - HART Application (YES) - Offline - Configure / Setup - Basic Setup - Setup Wizard - (Option) Relay A/C pilih A - Instrument Mode is (IN SERVICE) - OK - Warning (OK) - Out Of Service (ENTER) - Travel Control - psi - set 20 psi (according to valve name plate pressure) - Fisher Control - 667 (type of controller) - Actuator size (34 , 40) - (according to valve name plate) - Volume Buster NO - Setup wizard SEND - Use Factory default YES - to finish setting up the valve , run auto travel Calibration OK - Warning! Calibration will cause sudden change in instrument output - YES - Select crossover adjust MANUAL - select crossover adjustment source DIGITAL - Manual crossover Adjust DONE - Move valve now to set pressure range HI and LOW? YES - Auto calibration has complete OK - Reminder : instrument must be returned to IN SERVICE for output to track input. OK - Warning! Valve may move when In service mode is sent to the instrument.
