Comienzos

El equipo naci en 2006 como un proyecto innovador del

Departamento de Ingeniera Mecnica. Tras dos aos de
preparacin, en 2008 se complet el primer prototipo, aunque
desgraciadamente no pudo competir eln las pruebas dinmicas

En torno a 80000 euros dado que participan con un coche

elctrico(ao 2012)

Under the FS there is supposed to be a fictitious company that hires a design

team formed by students to develop the car. The prototype must be conceived for
serial production and for weekend amateur drivers as potential purchasers.
Every team develop the project based on common regulations that ensure the
safety of the people around the car (all drivers are students of the team) and
stimulate problem solving skills.
At the beginning of each competition, all vehicles are inspected to check that all
rules are fulfilled in the Technical Inspection (Scrutineering). Electrical safety,
braking capacity, stability and noise level, for example, are tested before the car is
allowed to compete in the dynamic events. All in all, FS includes all the aspects of
a businesssuch as research, design, manufacturing, assembly, tests, marketing,
leadership and fundraising. This project takes students from the class to place them
in real world.
