: Conclusion
We learned about the zener diode and how it differ
from another types of diodes by its operating region ..
that is the zener diode operates in the reverse
breakdown region .. the zener diode has a constant
voltage and this make the zener diode useful in
voltage regulator which is a circuit used to maintain a
constant DC output voltage across the load terminals
. by reducing the ripple voltage
