System (SEAS)
The SEAS is a CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT
initiative which advocates for the
development of Institutional capacities of
entities (Federations, Confederations) to
deliver quality sport and Individual
capacities of Sport Practitioners (Coaches,
Officials, Administrators and Sports
Scientists)

Assessment

SEAS Concept
Subjects organizations to an Organizational Self
Assessment (Mapping) process which is bench marked
against international best practice to identify gaps in
Governance, Management, HR, Finance, Training
Curricula, LTAD, LTCD programmes.
Collaborates with mapped institutions to develop
appropriate training/educational interventions aimed at
up skilling and enhancing their individual/institutional
capacities to deliver quality sport
Recognizes Sports Federations as not only the
custodians of sport codes but the key drivers of sport
education/training and accreditation of coaches and
technical officials

SEAS seeks to add value to Sports Federations
education and training programmes
Recognizes Coaches, Officials and
Administrators as the targeted beneficiaries of
SEAS but the root beneficiaries are the athletes
and participants
Recognizes Sports Education/Training and
Accreditation as the only intervention that will
take sport to the next performance level
