Multi-Focal

As we age we eventually lose the ability focus up close and this can be very
difficult with lenses that are engineered for a single distance. Fortunately with
advances in technology we have several options to compensate at multiple
distances such as near, computer distance and far. Welcome to the world of
multifocal lenses!

Flat-top Bifocal

This is the standard multifocal lens that

includes two viewing areas: one of
distance and one for near. There will be
a line on the lenses that marking the
change from distance to near.

Trifocal

Very similar to the flat-top bifocal,
except with a trifocal, there are three
viewing areas: one for distance, one for
computer and one for near. There will be
two separate lines marking the change
between the three viewing segments.

Progressive:

This type of lenses provides
compensation for viewing distance,
computer and near through a gradual
transition unlike bifocals and trifocals,
hence the name no-line.
