Discussion Post:
What are the differences of Photoshop and Illustrator
The Main differences in the 2 programs are that one is used for photo modification,
(Photoshop) and the other is use to create an entirely new image (Illustrator).
Illustrator is a vector based program, which you can use to create images out of
lines, which the quality will not change if you scale the photo either up or down,
while in Photoshop the image would get blurrier. Also, Photoshop is a graphics

based program, which is mainly used for enhancing features in an image. Both can
layer the images, but Photoshop can only layer multiple images into one, while
Illustrator can layer many into multiple. Both were made within 3 years of each
other, (1987 Illustator-1990 Photoshop)and both are owned by Adobe and cost
multiple hundred dollars.
