JobResponsibilities:
Designofsteelstructures(offshore,subsea)usingFEAandhandcalculations,accordingto
relevantdesigncodes(API,AISC,ASME,etc.)andclassregulations(DNV,ABS,etc.)
Coordinatewiththedraftsmantopreparethedrawings,
Preparationofthereportsandfollowupwithclient/classcomments,
Structuralverificationsvaryingfromsimplesteelstructuretoadvancedmechanicalassembly
includingnonlinearbehaviour(contacts,prestressedelements,etc.)
Qualification&Experience

Graduated with at least a Bachelors Degree in Steel Structural Engineering or Mechanical

Engineeringfromlocalorinternationalrecognizeduniversity.

Minimum3yearsofrelevantengineeringexperienceinOffshoreandMarineIndustry

CivilEngineerwithstrongandrelevantoffshoreexperiencewillbeconsidered

Goodleadership,planning,organizingandinterpersonalskills

Abilitytoworkwellindependentlyandinateam

GeneralKnowledgeinrelevantFEsoftwaresuchasAbaqus,Deeplines,OrcaflexorFlexcom.
PreferablywithhandsonexperienceinaFEAsoftware.

KnowledgeinMainrecommendedpractices:DNV,ABS,API,BV.
