    1. Atanareaabovethestream,the25ropewasheldtautateachendandwasthen
    placedhorizontallyontheground.The25ropewasheldallthroughouttheexperiment.
    2. The4ropewasthenplacedperpendiculartothe25ropeandwasstretchedouttautly
    withthemiddleknotbeingrightattheedgeofthe25rope.
    3. Twohumansweredesignatedtobeasearcherandeachwasgivenonenotebook
    alongwithonewritingutensil.Eachsearcherwasdesignatedonespecificsideofthe25
    ropetosurvey.
    4. Thetwosearchersthenwalkedthelengthoftheropestartingattheendofthe4on
    theirside.Thenumberofspecimensinthesearchers50areawascountedand
